Yoga for Pregnancy and Birth Preparation
Yoga 6 week Program – 1 session per week. From 13 weeks pregnant until birth, plus bonus class with partner.
The prenatal yoga program I offer is a nurturing practice, which promotes your wellbeing and the healthy development of your baby. It helps you to relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy and prepares you for birth and beyond. The class offers a supportive environment where you can meet and share experiences with other mums-to-be.
As part of the practice week-by-week we explore the following:
- Pelvic floor health
- Breathing techniques
- Postural awareness and core strength
- Relaxation and meditation
- Preparing for labour and birth
- Spiritual insights from the yoga tradition
I have designed the program to built up over time, if you choose to attend beyond 6 weeks until birth, your practice will deepen and your confidence will increase. I have also chosen practices that you can use safely at home and beyond birth; most of the simple yoga tools you learn and practice during the program will support your post natal healing and recovery, allowing you to move into your new life as a mum with more ease.
Bonus class with partner.
I offer this unique class as part of the program for you and your partner to practice supporting each other together; your partner can have a glimpse of what you do during your yoga sessions.
Partners more often than not are also experiencing some level of stress and concern in regard to your pregnancy and birth, and in this session they can enjoy the benefits of relaxation with you.

Start: Anytime you’re ready – after 13th week of pregnancy until birth.

Class size: Maximum of 6 students per class
